Papaver orientale 'Orange Scarlet'

Orange-scarlet blooms with a black eye add an exotic feeling to any sunny area in the perennial flower garden. Hairy foliage emerges early in the spring and quickly reaches maturity. Oriental poppy will go dormant after it blooms, so plant among other later emerging sun-loving perennials that will fill the space.
